New: WÜRTHPHOENIX EriZone 3 Upgrade is Available

A new upgrade for WÜRTHPHOENIX EriZone 3 is out now!

The upgrade is compatible only for WÜRTHPHOENIX EriZone 3.0.x

Major Fixes:

  • Service Category Search returned internal server error
  • Split function did not consider the correct customer when maintain current customer option was selected
  • NetEye Problems Dashlet used wrong hyperlinks on system access
  • The queue field had to be published after Service and Service Category selection
  • On Ticket Split it should be possible to configure the possibility to reset the owner for new split ticket
  • Various fixes on development package

Before upgrading the system, please perform a complete VM backup.
During the upgrade phase please make sure that no users are connected, to ensure a good outcome of the upgrade.

The update is only feasible through the graphical user interface module Package Manager:

Step 1: Log on with administrative credentials
Step 2: Open the Package Manager module from the admin panel

Step 3: In the left panel of the Package Manager request an update of available packages by selecting the drop down menu “EriZone 3.0 packages” and clicking on “Update repository information”

Step 4: If the transfer operation is successfully completed the table in the center of the page of the Package Manager will display the list of available packages for the upgrade:

Step 5: The upgrading procedure must be made STRICTLY with the following sequence (by clicking the items listed in the ACTION column)

  • EriZone
  • EriZoneCore
  • EriZoneServiceDeskEnhancement
  • EriZoneAccessManagement
  • EriZoneNetEyeIntegration [Optional – if necessary]
  • EriZoneDeveloper [Do not install!]

Please follow these rules during the upgrade/install procedure:

  • Contact our support team if you do not feel comfortable on any operation net.support@wuerth-phoenix.com or https://erizone.wuerth-phoenix.com
  • The packages must be installed in sequence and individually
  • The system may take longer or shorter times for each action / package so please be patient
  • Action buttons must be clicked only once for the success of the operations

Step 6: After the upgrade we recommend a reboot of EriZone with the following command /opt/otrs/scripts/EriZone/RestartEriZone.sh
