I have a lot of explosive news 💥 just for you!
👀GENERAL UPDATES & COMMUNICATIONS
Atlassian named a Leader in the 2024 Forrester Wave for Knowledge Management. Confluence is a leading Knowledge Management tool and it’s a great fit for customers seeking to transform silos in an enterprise-wide collaborative practice. The introduction of AI, the use of Rovo and the integration with Loom have definitely helped Confluence become a leader.
Loom: it was announced last year, but we could only recently realize the benefits of using it once it was integrated into the Atlassian Ecosystem. Loom is a great tool that has helped reduce the number of meetings, to allow people working async.
Rovo: Rovo was the biggest announcement this year. This tool helps you gather data from different sources, helping you speeding up your work.
🚀 JIRA SERVICE MANAGEMENT 1. Connect Assets objects with change management and incidents: with Premium and Enterprise plans, you can now associate relevant assets with change and incidents request, for a more holistic view of the changes. Top changes from the past are:
Change Conflicts related to Assets (Marked as affected assets in the settings) in Risk Insights of Change Issues (Used to be limited to services)
Connect Incidents with Assets, and track ongoing incidents in Change Risk Insights before approving a change
Change Calendar overlays will now show related asset objects (If they are Marked as affected assets in the settings)
Configure Assets with Changes/Incidents directly from Settings
2. Other interesting features added in the past months:
Jira Product Discovery is gaining interest and has recently reached 10K customers already. If you want to know more about it, take a look at this article explaining how it works.
If like me, you’re curious to know about all the upcoming features in the cloud, I recommend checking out this link: roadmap.
That’s all from my side, see you soon! 😎
