ed invece talvolta sono ridondati ma se c’e un problema con il VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol), che non e’ immediatamente riconoscibile, al momento del bisogno l’ elezione del Master potrebbe non funzionare.
Molto interessante il set di plug-in smnp tra i quali si trova il controllo check_snmp_vrrp che permette di verificare lo stato delle interfacce ad esempio dei firewall Nokia; ci ha permesso di verificare che in un installazione di firewall in VRRP, due interfacce che dovevano essere in master/backup, erano bensi’ in master/master, con tutte le conseguenze del caso.
