Good opportunities for NetEye on the growing Polish market
Grzegor Walicki, CEO of SPS, foresees a considerable market potential in NetEye also for the Polish market
The growth in Poland has in recent years been one of the highest in Europe, reaching in 2012 an increase of over 2%. The value of the IT market in the software industry even under the difficult circumstances of 2012 accounted for an increase of 7% and 8% for all service related offers. The IT industry will continue to grow in the coming years compared to many other sectors.
Evaluating these circumstances we saw good market opportunities also for the area of IT-System Management and Open Source based solutions like NetEye. As a first step we signed a partnership with local IT specialist SPS, headquarteerd in Warsaw. Thanks to this cooperation we are expecting to accelerate our market entry, well considering that nevertheless the Polish market is less fragmented than most European realities in this industry, the collaboration with local partners however offers the possibility of obtaining important references in order to quickly create the right conditions for a sustainable business development. Grzegorz Walicki, CEO of our partner SPS foresees a considerable market prospect for NetEye: “Poland is one of Europe’s fastest growing IT markets, with IT services driving growth for the sector as a whole. With NetEye Würth Phoenix developed a solution which in its characteristics suits ideally for the Polish market and has good chances to challenge established local as well as international players in the business area of IT System Management”.

I’m Georg, born in Bolzano in 1971. The IT has always been my true passion: my first computer was a Spectrum, maybe someone still remembers it… the first application I developed on it was the naval combat. Later on I started the implementation of ERP software using C, C++, Java, Informix, Oracle, Unix, Window. Recently I approached the Open Source technologies like Nagios, Cacti, MRTG, NagVis, OCS Inventory, GLPI, ntop with the vision to improve the working activities of the system administrators. In my free time I love hiking in the mountains, skiing, playing football as well as I like comparing different OS like Linux, Windows or Mac trying to find the potentialities and weaknesses.
